Milwaukee County Council's JLTC is called "Powderhorn." It was given this
name because the council purchased a property from a sportsmen's club known
as Powderhorn. The first JLT couses were held at this camp which was renamed
to Camp Journal. In recent years the course has been held at Indian Mound
Reservation, another one of the council's camps. I was an Assistant
Scoutmaster for the course in '95.
Potawatomi Area Council, the area west of Milwaukee, (Waukesha etc.), calls
it's JLT course Pine Tree.
Just wanted to clear up any confusion.
