Our Scout room is about 50'x50, and we are fortunate that it is dedicated
to the exclusive use of Scouts in our Church (cubs, Scouts, Explorers,
Girl Scouts) so we have been able to "customize" the room over the years.
Each patrol has a "corner" demarked by "corral poles" and the center has a
"stage" background which is decorated with troop memorabilia, among other
things, ribbons from the troop flag dating back to the late 50's.
We hang the ribbons from the top of the stage backdrop and they are
illuminated by "valance" lighting so they create a colorful, and nicely
displayed history of troop activities for over 40 years. When we run out
of room on the stage, we will probably start displaying ribbons in patrol
