I have seen the damage a paint gun can do when used
improperly (shooting marbles instead of paint pellets).
I consider a paint gun to be a fire arm and therefore
subject to the policy on Guns and Firearms. From Guide to
Safe Scouting, "Except for law enforcement officers required
to carry firearms within their jurisdiction, firearms shall
not be brought on camping, hiking, backpacking, or other
Scouting activities except those specifically planned for
target shooting under the supervision of a certified BSA or
National Rifle Association instructor.
