Hello All -
A quick question to anyone who might be familiar with how the National
Junior Leader Instructor Camp (NJLIC) is scheduled. We are working to get
three of our sharp young men out to one of this summer's sessions (Aug
4-10). At this point, it looks like schedule conflicts with NOAC demand
that they fly home.
We need to know when they are turned loose from NJLIC....then, how fast
Philmont can get them to Raton...so the parents can check with Greyhound
schedules to see when they can catch a plane at either Albuquerque or
Colorado Springs (whichever gets them home or to NOAC faster).
We know that they must arrive in Raton anytime on the first Saturday (so
that Philmont can get them to NJLIC on Sunday). At this point, we don't
know enough about the departure schedule to allow the parents to get the
plane tickets home.
Anybody know anything about how the kids get turned loose at NJLIC?
By any chance, do any of the folks on the list have any Scout trainers
going to NJLIC this summer? Anybody working it?
