Once again it seams that I did not prepare sufficient material for my den
meeting. I had a gathering game, opening ceremony, lit the candle, ate a
snack, drew names for denner of the month, collected dues, discussed the
pack meeting, ran through Bobcat requirements, pounded nails, screwed
screws, did a treasure hunt, talked about the seven laws of health, and
was through in 45 minutes. I filled in with a tag game, awarded pocket tags
and beads, and held a closing. I felt rushed but had to keep the five boys
interested or they end up bickering.
Any suggestions on how to slow down or what to keep in the back pocket
for times when the activities finish up faster than you thought?
