I think there is some confusion here. there is a world crest which does have
a permanent position above the left pocket and the world conservation award
(which the boys have to earn) which is treated as a temporay patch. I agree
with the original writer in that the World Conservation Award should have a
permanent position on the shirt considering the work the boys have to do to
