Maarten, glad to see you on the list. Don't worry about the
quality of your English, it works fine for me.
There is one thing that I haven't seen anyone tell you about Dutch
Ovens. Most ovens are made out of cast iron. This is reputed to
hold heat better, and cook more evenly. However, they also require
a certain amount of maintenance to ensure that they are properly
"seasoned" and do not rust. Also, they are very heavy.
There is an alternative. You can get aluminum Dutch Ovens. They are
half the weight, and I have found them to cook fine. They also don't
rust. However, they are more likely to warp if you take them from
very hot to cold in a hurry. You might consider getting an aluminum
Dutch Oven if weight is a factor.
