My daughter, Lindy, is working at Phillips Junction Commissary/Trading Post
If you or anyone you know is going on one of the 12 (out of 27) itineraries
that pickup food at Phillips Junction, please say "Howdy" to her and tell
her you came to get a "popsicle". She only expects folks from Louisiana to
ask for popsicles and will be surprised to get requests from others.
She called home Monday, and the news about the drought was not good, and its
effects on the program (campfires, black powder rifle shooting, water
restrictions, etc). Also, she said the Chuck Wagon Supper is likely to be a
Chuck Wagon Breakfast instead. Hope it rains soon.
