Where in the insignia control guide does it say you HAVE to wear any
patches/badges on the uniform. I believe it only shows and details correct
placement for the insignia you choose to wear. It's always been a fun
argument with several of my Scouting friends. A few of us argue the no patch
or very few patch side and others argue the General Patton side.
I just happen to argue and practice the no patch side (even I can be a
hypocrite because I do have one uniform with all the stuff on it and my
newest uniform has the flag on it because nat'l sewed it on for me :-) It's
fun to argue the point and besides, I'm lazy and hate sewing all those tiny
