First, congratulations on being selected and approved!
I've participated in Cub Wood Badge and I'm presently serving in my third
Staff assignment. Here's what I would suggest to prepare:
1. Relax. You're ready for this. You wouldn't have been approved if you
2. Think about training in your Council and/or District. What do you do?
What could you do if you wanted to? What really needs doing? Remember, one
result of your Wood Badge experience is the expectation that you'll improve
the training efforts in your District or Council when you return.
3. Get as much sleep as you can BEFORE you arrive :-)
4. Warm up your singing voice, and prepare for one of the most memorable
experiences in your Scouting life!
Have fun - write again when you return.
