Yes, you (probably) have them wrong but not because of the order in which you
have placed them. Unless you have received palms beyond "silver" (the
highest), you should only have 1 palm on your Eagle ribbon or square knot.
The gold palm REPLACES the bronze, and the silver REPLACES the gold. If you
earn additional palms beyond the first silver then an additional palm may be
worn to indicate that. I believe that you may then wear silver plus bronze,
or silver plus gold, or silver plus silver to represent total merit badges.
What happens beyond that level is not clear to me.
