Need some different view points. My troop is ready to have our next
Eagle Court of Honor. This is going to be a double Eagle. My question
is, Is there anywhere in writing, that the Eagle Dads pin can only be
awarded to an Eagle Scout Dad, during an open court of honor. I have
been told on several occasions that on Eagle Scouts could be award this
pin during an official ceremony. It just so happens that I'm one of the
Dads this time, and I'de feel pretty special having my son pin the dads
pin on me. Our District Eagle Scout Advancement has told me to do as I
please, that he knows of nothing in writing that makes that statement.
Any feed back on this would be appreciated. By the Way the Court of
Honor is Sat the 23rd of Mar. My son Sean, and another Scout Marc will
be awarded together.
Proud to be an Eagle's "DAD"
