The annual report to the President and the filing of the annual Report to
Congress occur with about this much fanfare every year. It's not a
requirement that the President accept it, but they almost always do show up
This does get to one of my chief peeves. This event should get a lot more
press play. When the report went to the Senate Committee on Labor and Human
Resources when I was the press guy there, I used to do a press release. It
got almost no play.
I have a news grabber set to give me any news story it finds on Scouts or
Scouting. I have had none show up in five months.
For a significant movement, why do the Scouts have such a low news profile?
What can we do, what should we do, to improve it?
