This is amazing to me -- that someone would actually complain that a
boy had already been camping, whether as a Cub Scout or not! My FAMILY
camps, so do those leaders want me not to camp until they authorize it?
Yes, I actually had this discussion some years ago. The unit
leaders complained that I had my son, then about 10, out to a Boy Scout
camp. I told that unit to forget our involvement and we went elsewhere.
