Our Pack has an interesting problem -- too much money. It was suggested
that perhaps we could start a scholarship fund to help defray the cost of
camps, uniforms, etc., for underprivileged kids of the pack. Does anyone
on the list have experience in setting up and managing this type of fund?
What criteria do you use for disbursing funds? We plan to start the fund
with $100o. We also have a number of parents who have asked if they could
contribute to such a fund. Ideally, we would like to place the fund in a
cash management account and use the interest for disbursements. Any help
you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
