First I agreed to help out with my son's Tiger Group, then to be
the "Coach" and then the "Coach for the other Coaches". Recently, I
have agreed to be assistant Cub Master and have been given more and
more responsibilities within the Pack. I find it all fun and
exhilerating, and my son and I are simply having a BLAST. As he puts it
"its a major GROWL, dad..."
This past Council RT, I was asked to help with the RT from time to
time, but now I think I finally over did it... I have agreed to teach
Cub Scout cooking at our forthcoming Cub Scout Day Camp. YIKES!!!!!!!!
Since I am NIETHER a coward nor a quitter, I am starting to plan this
fiasco now.... so PLEASE send me your ideas, your recipes, your plans
(your prayers!!!) and make me look like I know what I am doing. I am
already planning on having the cubbies make cardboard/foil ovens and
bake a pig in the blanket. BUT, I want to hear whatever you have to say
about this. E-mail me direct, or put it here on the list if you think
its good enough. I will compile all of these ideas for a comprehensive
program guide for teaching Cub Scout cooking. Thanks in advance...
