Frankly, I don't understand why everyone is always so eager to find
REGULATIONS that support their chosen point of view about these things,
like whether or not an adult can wear their Eagle Badge at a Court of
Honor. Common sense will tell you, of course you can! The function of
the insignia guide (if any) is to merely tell the proper place on the
uniform, as if you didn't know.
As an adult, I wear an Eagle Square-knot on my 'every-day' uniform. I do
put on my ribbon badge also, but only for Courts of Honor. I will continue
to do so as long as I am in Scouting.
I don't know (or care) what the 'regulations' say about wearing the Eagle
Ribbon Badge on an ordinary suit. The first time I saw it, I thought it
was a little strange, but since then I have accepted it as OK for people
who are not currently in Scouting. My feeling is ANY Eagle should wear
his Badge proudly at a Court of Honor, especially an Eagle COH. If you are
currently registerd in Scouting then you should wear your uniform.
