Perhaps Bob is referring to the Insignia Control Guide (mine is a 95
print, #33064) on page 5 which states that adults should wear the
square knot representing the Arrow of Light, Eagle Scout award,
Explorer achievement award, Quartermaster or religous emblems earned as
a youth member.
but....on page 22 it states that the Eagle Award (medal) is worn by
adults only on formal or dress occasions. This is why he has seen some
"older" Eagles proudly displaying their Eagle medal.
