The Northeast Region Jewish Committee on Scouting held a conference last
year and issued neckerchiefs to each of the staff members. Each one was
made by hand by one of our members. He (thats right HE) bought the
material from a fabric store and sewed each one. The emblem was then
added. Cost was $2.00 for the neckerchief with emblem. Now this
particular person loves to do this kind of thing and has been presented
first place in beadwork and cross stitch at the state fair. If you can
find someone who can do this then you can reduce the cost.
Incidently he also sews the red loops for the Troop at about $.21 cost.
We have reduced our cost significantly in some areas and are correctly
