Left pocket below seam. I am not familiar with the placement guides you
quoted but just for laughs and giggles here goes, I am a trainer here in our
district and I always carry some vintage scout uniforms to training. I allow
the new leaders to study the two and tell which is the correct uniform.
Strangely enough the ruling is....once uniform, always uniform. So, you can
have a guy come to the blue & gold or other celebration wearing the uniform
of his day and still be "official". I guess if you have to make a good
common sense call go with the newest info you can get. Boys who have older
uniforms with older locations (ie, American falg used to be above left
pocket) are OK, boys with new uniforms should follow latest insignia guide.
