Who should wear the Orange-backed Tiger Cub Service Star?
To start with, the adult is indeed a "partner". Meaning,
they are sharing everything from the activities to the
Secondly, they are listed on the Pack's Charter right under
the Adult Member Listing.
Third, the current Youth Membership Registration forms have
a section just for the Tiger Cub Partner. In fact, that same
section also states that if the Partner is not a parent living
at the same address as the youth, an Adult Registration Form
Lastly, the Insignia Guide says the Orange Background is for
Tiger Cub Service. The Tiger Cub Program does not happen if
the Adult Partners are not providing that service.
Everything about the Tiger Cub Program has the Adult Partner
participating along their Tiger Cub. So, why wouldn't they
BOTH have earned a Tiger Cub Service Star?
