Leader Gender: overnite trips

Most of what has been written here recently about genders of adult
leaders concerns Explorer overnight trips. As I understand it, most are
in agreement that the requirement is for at least one leader of each
gender to match the genders of the youth involved.
I don't know if the same requirement applies for Boy Scout overnights.
While two-deep leadership is required, this is satisfied by a registered
leader and another adult. Gender of the leaders is not specified. Thus,
a female SM and another female adult could camp overnight with the Boy
Scout troop. The troop, of course, consists of youth with a single
