Okay, Signe Rogers brought it up, Female SM. Although the Safety
guidelines do not exactly say this, but very much implies that there should
be two female adults (if there are females attending) on camping trips.
How do I come to this conclusion? Look at the procedures for females using
latrines. One could overcome this problem with camping were there are
distinct facilities. The other would be a husband and wife team. But the
husband would have to escort his wife to the facilities. I believe these
are not always available on high adventure outings.
Okay, it does not say it in Black and White. But it is a very good idea,
especially since we do not want to create an opportunity for anything wrong
I believe it is a good idea, and push the Troop I am affiliated with into
following this interpretation.
