Hi Jim...I don't have an answer for your Philmont question, but I do have a
question for you. I have noticed that many scouters on the net will state,
as you did, "used to be (pick an animal)", not always followed by a number
(as yours does).
What does this mean? My only guess is that it is reflective of the Patrol
Unit one was a member of when scout age?
