i am a troop scouter with 1st Howick Scout Troop, Maitland district, Blue
Water Region, Ontario, Canada. My troop is co-ed (5 boys, 3 girls) with 2
patrols and one other (male) leader. We meet in a United Church basement in
the village of Fordwich, in western Ontario. I have been here for 3 years,
although have been involved with scouting since being a cub and as a leader
for almost 11 years.
I am married with 3 young boys. the eldest is a beaver.
My wife is Baloo, for our Cub pack. That keeps scouting firmly entrenched
in the family. The pack is also co-ed and has 13 boys this year. All our
section went co-ed in Sept. so we are learning a great deal. So far so good.
i am glad to be here and hope this will be informative.
