A couple of you have asked about these stave shields. You all are
talking about the little metal do-hickies (Virginian for "stave
shield") with NESA, OA, Wood Badge logos, etc. that one can tack onto
hiking staffs? If so, check out your scout shop! The NCAC scout shop
has a wide variety of them, and I assumed all the scout shops around
the country did too. The NCAC scout shop can be reached at
301/530-9360. And of course, there's always the BSA catalog.
If I've not understood what a stave shield is...never mind.
