I would never give a boy scout in my troop caffeine. This includes
coffee, tea or colas. The reason for this is simple: caffiene can
have extreme negative effects on many children, including sleeplessness
and hyperactivity. Additionally, many boys cannot have it because of
medications they are taking.
Our troop sticks with water, koolaid, juices, and milk.
