I do not know about all native american situations, but recently in
western NY, the FIRST americans, have had some VERY HOT debates among
their OWN people concerning gambling on indian lands. The very traditional
people do not want it, the yonger newer generations see it as a way
to earn money for the people, for better health care and education etc.
Persnally, I think it is a great way to get back SOME of the money that
is historically owed to many native american peoples.
