I've got a script for the Boyce encounter--called "Incident on a
London Street, 1908". I wrote it for our B&G banquet a couple of
years ago. It requires a microphone, and two scouts. The scouts
pantomime out the incident, while the narrator reads the script in
voice-over. I did it this way because the room where the B&G is held
has terrible acoustics and is huge, and the kids' voices, had they
said their lines, would have been unintelligible.
Anyway, it worked out fine. You can, of course, glitz the production
up with costumes, a fog machine, props like a street light, etc. And
feel free to rewrite the script as you wish.
Let me know if you'd like me to snail mail you the script. If there's
more interest among the Scouts-l readership, I'll post it.
