When I was in Grade 9 in High School (1979) in British Columbia,
the whole year was given a lecture by some Health Board folk that
showed that regular Marijuana use led to short term and long
term memory deficiencies. Seeing as this was a while ago now
and I don't exactly keep up on the topic, does anyone know if
the medical evidence we were told still holds out?
Regarding the original post, that father's relationship and rules
with his son is their own business as long as it does not
affect the Scout Troop. If it does, then that is something
altogether different and is the appropriate time to pull in
the Troop Leadership to resolve the problem.
