And for all of you Girl Scouts in the USA out there, there is a different
day(s) just for the female side of the game. March 9 is Girl Scout Sabbath,
March 10 is Girl Scout Sunday, March 12 is the Girl Scout Birthday, and the
week that includes March 12 is considered Girl Scout Week. For the whole
Girl Guide/Girl Scout movement February 22nd is Thinking Day in honor of
both Lord and Lady Baden-Powell. Lord Robert Baden-Powell's (Founder of the
Boy Scouts and Girl Guides) birthday was February 22nd and so was his
wife's, Olave Baden-Powell (World Chief Guide)!
