What is it? Woodbadge is an adult Boy Scout leader training course of the
highest and finest caliber. (snip paragraph removed)
Who may attend? All registered Scouters who have completed the
Scoutmastership Fundamentals course may appoly. This advanced training is
intended for Scoutmasters, assistandt, and other Scouters directly related to
Boy Scout troop operators. All participants must be approved by their home
council at the time of application.
Where is it? The 1996 course will be held at Camp John H. Ware, III-----
(Deroba addition--- near Route 1 as it crosses the Maryland and PA border)
When is it? Aug 23-25, Sept 6-8, and Sept 20-22, 1996. these are three
entire weekends, Friday night through Sunday early afternoon (Deroba
addition--including the last day), with a two-week separation between each.
The pre-course meeting is Tuesday, July 23, 1996.
What is the Cost? A deposit of $30.00 will hold your place, refundable 30
days or more prior to the course's opening date. The total fee for the
course is $140. (snip)
Candidates must attend all sessions of the course to qualify for course
completion. The course is limited to 56 participants. If your application
is accepted, you will recieve an invitation to Wood Badge NE-IV-81 directly
from Chester county Council. Additional questions about the course may be
