Tom, I remember this song from summer camp, (Camp Tom Howard, Sequoyah
Council, Ocanosta District), in the early 1960's, I'm not sure of all the
words but this is what I remember.
I don't want to march in the infantry (march in place)
ride in the cavalry ( holding reins in front of you and making riding motions)
shoot in the artillery (aiming make-believe gun at the sky)
I don't want to fly over Germany, (arms out as if flying)
I'm in the King's navy, I'm in the king's navy.
We pronounced navy as nyvee. Thats all I know.
Used to be a beaver, always an Eagle.
