Since a couple of people asked, I'll respond to the list.
The "Insignia Guide" says: "The OA sash is not worn with the merit badge sash."
The OA Handbook says: "The sash is worn at Order of the Arrow functions and spec
activities including Courts of Honor. It is not to be worn at troop meetings nor
is it to be
worn draped or folded over the belt. It should only be worn on occasions when me
mbers need to
be identified as rendering special services."
So basically, at a Court of Honor, the scout has the choice, but cannot wear bot
h. In my troop,
we leave the choice up to the individual scout, and about half wear their OA sas
h, half wear
their merit badge sash.
