During many of the Eagle Court of Honor s I use a line that I pulled out a
book somewhere that states that the Eagle Award is the only rank that is
Awarded and that Boy Scouts of America can take it away if they feel that you
are no longer living up to the ideals of scouting, does anyone know what
would constitute the removal of the Eagle Award. I was told many years ago by
my SM that a Eagle Scout was demoted because he used his leadership skill
that Boy Scouts of America taught him to lead a KKK movement which would be
against the Oath and Law. I have heard of Eagle Scouts being in prison too.
Doesn t speak well for them or the rank but would it take to have your wings
striped. Does anyone know? If you could site examples even better. My scouts
have been asking and the KKK story is getting old.
