I disagree with including attendance under scout spirit. There is a
separate requirement for "active participation with troop and patrol."
This is where attendance comes into the picture. I believe the most
recent re-wording of the scout spirit requirement covers it very well:
"Demonstrate Scout spirit by living the Scout Oath (Promise) and Scout
Law in your everyday life."
