I have put together some survival information and included it in the
Gaelic Wolf Scouting Pages, available to you at:
You have to navigate into the "Serious Side of Scouting" section, and
the path will be clear from there.
The section on Survival for Cubs will probably be of particular interest
to many, and includes information on an easily available training course
aimed at Cub-age youth. The link comes from the Search and Rescue
Society of British Columbia (SARBC), but the information is applicable
anywhere in the world. It also has the Nine Rules a lost child should
follow in the woods.
There are also sections on teaching survival to three the three main
"experience levels" of members of the Scout Troop, including information
applicable to senior Scout / Venture Scout / Explorer age levels.
Take a look and let us know what you think.
