Our Council, Hudson Liberty, BSA, runs a camp-or-all every two years in
Liberty State Park on the edge of the Hudson River overlooking (or is it
being overlooked by) the Statue of Liberty. This is in the heart of Hudson
County, NJ, one of the most densely populated areas in the USA.
We use police explorer posts for security. We've even had visiting units
from other councils join us and combine the weekend with trips to the Statue
of Liberty, Ellis Island and the Liberty science Center.
Over the years we've had little or no security problems.
We'll be running another one this coming spring and the theme will be Scout
