I believe a simple and beneficial solution to your possible problem is this:
If one scout wants to come over for your help then very likely others may
want to get this help as well. Now obviously I do not know how much
space you have in your computer room but, I would hope you could get at
least a few boys in there.
Why not make this a Den or Patrol event, ask another parent to stick
around (probably not a problem as most are interested in computers anyway),
and you've improved the program and gotten rid of the potential YPP conflict.
You will then also have an excuse to get a bigger monitor! :)
