Cliff certainly has a number of good points, but demonstrating leadership
example - and having the courage to take a stand publicly when the standards
not being met - is probably the most important aspect, and a necessary step
to accomplish any of the worthy goals listed. Uniforms, safety issues,
opposing tobacco and alcohol use and abuse, language, education,
responsibility, avoiding hypocrisy though constant integrity - none of these
things are new ideas, but they
have to be bravely upheld without excuses or rationalizations.
The obverse of Freedom is Responsibility.
