I really didnt make myself clear in unsupervised cubscout question. I had
not had time to reread what I had wrote and edit. It was supposed to get sent
out but I forgot I had it in my mailbox. It is a family campout but this boys
family cannot go with him. They did not want him to miss the first campout
and asked if two den leaders would supervise him. Myself, a wolf den leader
and the den leader of the bears. The boy is a bear and is not even in my den
but since our den and the bear den is planning this together adn we were the
leaders, it was asked to us. We have told the parents that we will not be
able to supervise him because of the liability adn that on our next family
campout, in Feb., maybe they could attend.
With all the replies that this got I dont really know what the answers is
anyway. Everyone seems to have a idea on what the rules state. I guess
really its do what you think is best and use good judgement.
