Question for the wisdom of Scouts-L:
I am being told by professional scouters that it is
acceptable for me to invite a scout to my house to work on
my computer -if parents are informed and consent-.
I didn't know that parental consent changes the YPP
'guidelines' prohibiting one-on-one contact. Does this sound
wrong to anyone else out there? When I asked the question
above at my council office, I was told it would be 'OK', that it
fell into a "grey area", and I should "trust my gut."
What do any of you think of this advice/interpetation.
(BTW: Private E-mail are very welcome if you wish to remain
anonymous --particularly if you're a lurking pro)
