I have had at least 9 requests for the guide so far. I am going to try to see
if I can encode it for sending. Please note, I have no capacity for
sending attachments (there are some requests in this area-if the VAX cluster I
use has this ability I have no time to figure it out since I only use this
system for SCOUTS-L and personal mail).
If I do figure out the methods for ziping and encoding, I will also
probably add a text of the slides since many people no longer use Harvard
Graphics (version 2) and could not use these files anyway. (Meaning they
would have to use Powerpoint or ??? to create their own masters or just
write out the text on the newsprint for the training).
PLease give me a little time to get this out, since I just got back from
doing the registration at our O-A Conclave (spent the week getting ready
and had to get there before most everyone else). So things are a little
backed up. I also have a few priorities this week which may delay my
getting to this.
Anyone who may want the Merit Badge Counselor Orientation Instructor's
Guide I put together, please send me a message at my INTERNET address below
(not the BITNET address I use for SCOUTS-L since most of you do not have
access to BITNET). I will try to hvae the file and graphics E-mailable by

The requirements for Eagle are mostly trivial, any scout is capable. Doing
them is what is significant, because most people never finish what they start.
