You are living practically in the "Birthplace of the Nation" I think you
could do some great things with Pennsylvania's contributions to the Nation.
While Philadelphia appears to be a ways to go perhaps a trip to
Necessity Nat'l Battlefield might be something to do?
Or perhaps the contributions of Pittsburgh's steel and glass mills to the
war efforts during the 1st and 2nd World Wars. Maybe even the Civil War?
There's probably alot of history in your own town or those around you
such as historic cemetaries, buildings, museums etc.
If no one in the area has compiled a town history this might be a great
project for the boys to work on!
