Although that may be correct in theory, (and I personally don't read that in
the material) in practice, I find it effective to spend about five or ten
minutes with the group each time they meet. I make pack announcements, make
sure the person responsible for the meeting has shown up and is running
things, and I make sure they get a volunteer to handle the next meeting.
I also keep a spare project in my cub briefcase just in case the parent
responsible for that meeting fails to show up or have a project for them. I
think it always helps to have a plan B, and you can't do that if your not
