I guess it's refreshing to see a male out there speaks his mind.
Unfortunately, from what tunnel have you been living in for the past thirty
years? Maybe thirty years ago, when there was a higher propensity of
stable, two-parent families, your opinion would have been widely
accepted. But these days, that is far from the reality.
What do you say to a Mom who has been mother and father for a boy
since they were born, or since Daddy or whomever contributed to
bringing this boy into the world left? You can never fulfill the role of male
role model. That's very true. And what model would that be?
This is of course is just one example of why your theory is more MCP
and full of holes, than in the reality of evolution, change, and the way it
is. In my eight years as a scoutmaster, I was PRIVILIGED to work with
both men and women, and see the difference of having a female
scouter/ASM on our team, as well as most females occupying the critical
roles of the committee.
