Wow, this one _IS_ tough. But remember that a Scout needs to exemplify all
aspects of the Scout Law, and if the charges against him are true and
accurate, then it is obvious that he is not doing so.
Scouting is not just a weekly activity, it is a way of life. Everything we
do in Scouting affects our whole life, just as our whole life affects Scouting.
We cannot separate them.
I think that addressing the issue with at least the boy's father is justified,
if not the boy himself.
Let your instincts guide, and rememberm, we're out to shape and mold young
men for the rest of their lives. This issue could and probably will have
serious repercussions in this young man's lives as well as the lives of his
