Hi, all. Well, I am finally able to relax again. Tonight, Sunday, I
have returned from our Fall Camporee and I was the Adult Chief. I gotta
tell you all that I am exhausted, mentally and physically. But I would
do it again if I was able to look in the future. I think that the scouts
had a good. I had them running ragged. Of course, you always a few
adults bitching about something but you cant please everyone. It is
unbelievable. One SM complained that he didnt get the info because the
crackerbarrel was over when he got there at 10:10 PM. It started at 9:30!
Oh well. The experience was great. Only one casualty. Heat exhaustion
and he probably didnt eat or drink much. Skinny thin. Transported him
to ER but they wouldn't touch him until mom or dad got there. What good
is the medical power of attorney? This case there was nothing wrong,
ultimately. thank G-d.
The theme was The Vikings. You all remember I asked for some Jeopardy
style questions. That worked great. I guess the whole thing came out great.
Got an absolutely beautiful Chief's neckerchief. I am very proud to wear it.
Well, enough gushing. Just wanted to let y'all know.
