When requesting a copy of the Eagle Letter List, Cheryl Singhal noted,
that it was too late to provide letters to her own boy which led me to an
idea Cheryl thought was a GOOD one!
I suggested that on the boy's first anniversary of becoming an Eagle
Congratulatory letters again be given to him. This could be done by new
Eagles for that year and so each year until the boy leaves the Troop.
This could be part of a service project or perhaps one of the Troop Scribe's
jobs each year.
When requesting the letters, you could ask that the letter be
individualized if possible by noting "On this, your Xth Anniversary etc.".
I think this could become a great "Troop Tradition" and it's a great way
of recognizing your Eagles.
