I am active with an Explore Post ( Indian Dance Team- Coed) and a Boy Scout
Troop and here is what I have learned about both in reference to Bruce's

YES!!!! They can reqister in one and multiple into the other. You
treat them no differently than any other boy, except when you work on stuff
that the Post works with, then use those boys to teach that activity.

If their primary registration is the Troop then the Troop should
be responsible for the boys advancement. Also, I recommend to my boys to
work their advancement in the Troop because the Troop offers more of a
chance to work on their varying requirements where the Post works in one or
two areas only.

If they are registered with the Troop and it is a Troop function
or the boy(s) are attending as members of the Troop the insurance is the
Troop's responsibility. If it is a Post activity or they are attending as
Post members than the Post's insurance is reponsible.

Your District Commissioner or DE would probably have most of the
information you need or will know who to put you in contact with.
I hope this helps
